The Mid-March snow storm will delay by at least a week the planned start of the spring resurfacing of the courts. We are waiting for the snow to melt and then for the courts to dry sufficiently to begin the annual resurfacing project.
We are still hoping for an opening day sometime between April 10 and Aprl 15, but that will depend on more cooperative weather.
Private Lessons and Cardio Tennis will be availalbe for registration by April 4th.
Suppor the public red-clay tennis courts. Please consider the RCTA in your end-year giving. You can make a tax-deducible contribution here. It's quick, easy and secure; and it will help in so many ways - purchase new brooms and brushes for opening day next spring, provide scholarships to summer camp and spring programs, feed Scaredycat over the winter, purchase new windscreens.
The public courts under the RCTA's care were recently awarded "Best Public Courts in NYC" by the Village Voice. Recognition is always nice.
